Nothing quite matches the “unboxing” experience of an Apple product (for me anyways). Here is my new “Screamin’ Demon”. iMac 27” 2020 model with 5k screen, i9 3.5 - 5.0ghz processor with 10-cores, 32gb memory and a 2TB SSD hard drive. Yippy kai yay, mummy-truckers.
My computer crashed when it saw the price, at least I think it did, the room spun and everything went black...
I've never owned an apple product... Just like Fender Gibson Or Martin They are out of my price range So Am waiting for a rich person whom I've done something for to pass on... And Leave an apple computer to me... They are superior
my surfing computer blacked out on me today, it knows I've been looking at its replacement on my phone. The dirty rat finked me out to the desktop. I wanted to get one more guitar but noooo, this 10 year old Methuselah is probably about to go meet its maker soon.
I recently revived a 12 core Mac Pro with duel ATI Radeon HD 5770's to run all my outdated programs on Snow Leopard. I got that same Apple feeling when I fired it up and realized how much faster it is than my old iMac 27 Intel Core i5 Happy New Apple Day
Nice! I may not agree with the price, but you can't argue that Apple makes some solid-looking and working computers. Plus their unboxings are mint.
Just can't seem to wrap my head around LUNA. I use Cubase 10.5. LUNA is probably very good and FREE. And I have it with my Universal Audio Solo/Arrow.
its a tough change for me using sonar but the sound is awesome, it has alot of easy use stuff, just im not super fast/accustomed to it yet
Wow, that is bad ass. I'm not necessarily a Mac freak, but I understand the thrill of a new toy. Too bad it's already absolutely by the time you opened it up...strange are the ways of tech!
I usually upgrade every 3 yrs and get good money (about 30-35%) for my old gear. I keep my tech in near mint condition.
Being a creature of habit has it pros and cons. Take for instance my recent computer upgrade. I won’t bore you with the trials I was put though but suffice to say that when my backups failed me, I ended up pulling an “all nighter”, building a new machine. I hadn’t done this since my Windows daze [sic] while in my 30’s. This is not bemoaning anyone, vendor or otherwise. In fact, there is quite the adrenaline rush going though this. The first thing I did was make a list of all the steps I had to go through. I had no worries as all of my data files are cloud accessed. By 04:30 I was finally able to put my head down. My key issue was with regards to my external drive losing connectivity a few too many times thus failing the restore. Trying something new, I connected it to my high-end second its four USB-C ports. Crazy thought but finally not longer disconnecting. Stability achieved, getting all the apps and dropping some which I hadn’t used in eons, I reset the “dock” just the way I liked it. The lesson repeated was that the data was never lost – only the apps. I wasn’t dead-in-the-water as my iPad pro had everything to keep me going. Some good thinking a few years back, managed to keep my stress at a minimum, even if my fatigue wasn’t. Peace out - J P
Congrats...i think the imac is the best mac for music production..although i still cant wrap my head around the fact that they can house an i9 in there without the thing bursting into flames....
It runs incredibly cool! Way more efficient than my last i7 used one. I think it has largely to do with the SSD drive versus my previous Fusion SATA drive.
