But a great way to find out who you can really count on. Prolly not many.
Scrapper Blackwell. They just don't make names like that anymore.
Good classic blues. Hope I can get my middle SC P/U to make that funky blues acoustic sound.
I just listened to Derek and the Doms.
If I ever get my hands on a dollar again...
One of my favorite tunes. I can hack my way through it but I wish I could do it like scrapper did
that's different. I like
It really is a dynamite, powerful, genuine tune, that's for sure. Seems like one that the performer can make his own.
I started with an acoustic listening and learning from the Delta Blues greats, Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Reverend Gary Davies, etc, and listening to that reminds me of my early influences. Recorded that song with one of the bands I was in and the recorded track features on my sound cloud play list........thanks for posting, some lovely chord transitions which I will have to listen to again.
What talent. That chord progression is ingenious.
here is my take on the solo for the song. I recorded it all with a cheap acoustic but recorded all the backing tracks myself. The sync is a little off but you get the idea....
