    I think it's currently 31 that aren't Strats.

This is my guilty pleasure, sounds great, plays really smooth and, being a Shadows fan, this one was irresistable ;)

I love the Dinky. That is one of the coolest paint jobs. I sat on the side line too long when there was one here in Richmond in a pawn shop. That ain't gonna happen again. LOL.

As a NoOb player, I am a Dinky Fan.
The neck is very comfortable during the sometimes 2 hour lessons.
You will be hooked on the comfort as well as the workmanship.
My Ibanez is right there with it.
The Schecter neck is so flipping smooth and enjoyable, but is noticeably heavier.

    Awww Heckit!!
    I Love them All!!

I'm a big fan of "superstrats". They tend to be comfortable very easy to play. With the right pickups they sound great too. IMO they good for a lot more than just "shred".

Seeing this post has made me realise just how much choice of guitar is so personal to you and horses for courses. I could tell from the tone of your post just how much you really like all of your guitars; yet - and don’t be offended- I wouldn’t choose any of those you show to be included in my collection. By the same token I don’t suppose you would wish to have any of mine.

I think it’s great that we can all be so different, yet discuss things peacefully together. Politicians should give this a try

Being in your business I am sure you have laid hands on some impressive guitars and have been able to admire the craftsmanship, wear and a also seen a players love for their instruments. Thanks for sharing lots of great stuff you have there.

It’s built like a road case. For awhile the Drive-by Truckers road crew tried to start a road case company and I was able to use materials from them to build this. I covered the edge of the neck supports with leather and it has been a very useful rack. I used some velvet from the fabric store to cover the foam on the bottom. Guitars sit in there real nice. The top half covers the AC ducting. 7802DE82-8479-4913-B77D-0444F5D15560.jpeg

Only have one other guitar besides the Strat. It's a Gibson ES-175D. I bought this 1995 vintage Gibson in 2015 to finally replace my original 1966 version. That beloved guitar was my main instrument in my Michigan State U R & B band. After marrying upon graduation, the Gibson was sold to buy a Pioneer stereo system. I regretted that sale for decades. In 2015, after seeing the movie "Ricki and the Flash", my wife suggested that maybe I should buy one again. I string both instruments with the same D'Ardario Half-wound light gauge strings so the guitars feel similar. At 76 I'm no longer able to enjoy playing heavier gauges.

Sold that beauty in 1972 for $250.00. Cost $600+ in 1966 (a lot of money). Today, it's 10 grand in good condition… Darn! Steve Howe and I think alike...
