I was looking at some courseware that had major scale movement based on the D major chord shape. Heck, why not just plink around a little with Norwegian Wood?

That's a song when I finally got it down made it feel like a huge accomplishment

One of my favourites when playing the 12-string... The octave strings are reminiscent of the sitar sound used on the original.

Well that triggered a memory. Sad I have forgotten so much of what I once could play.

I can see that. It's not a song that I could keep going without error finger style for very long.

    Great acoustic song.

“Here Comes the Sun” checks off the same box, yeah?

And if you play “Run of the Mill” down an octave, like to accompany the capo’d part?

And now I’m thinking “Waterloo Sunset” too, maybe, but not as extensively as those George songs.

Glad to help! Yeah, this is a fun little ditty based on the D major scale and D chord shape. Even room for some D minor dwiddling in the chorus. I'm sure keys can be changed to a player's liking.

Interesting. I don't have a 12 string but will give it a try the next time I high string one of my guitars.
