So we're in "holiday mode" Do you buy your significant other a super nice gift so you can get yourself that mega expensive guitar you've been lusting over? Let's see: wife - Canon 90D camera with 18-135 lens self - Martin 0028CE crap, everyone else get a tin of cookies What are you getting yourself???
We already got each other our Christmas gifts earlier in the year. I got Mrs. Believer a Revair hair dryer that she wanted. It's basically a heated vacuum for drying and stretching/straightening your hair. I got a BoStrap, a new pair of shoes and a nice table belt/sander. I thought we were done until two days ago when we went to Costco and came across this stand-up desk that she wanted for her office. She had been using a desk converter that sat on top of her desk but this gives her much more room and she does normally stand for about 5 hours of her 10 hour days. Now, hopefully I can find something else I like...or possibly just get some extra cash to stash for when I do find something. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Admin Post We're probably headed back to Florida for Christmas so that will be our gift to each other.
Mrs C is THEE toughest person to shop for. I knocked it out of the park with her birthday present but drawing a blank on Christmas. I’d like a Big Muff Rams Head Reissue and/or a small pedalboard to tie my pedals down to but we’re Livin La Vida Broka so not gonna be too upset if I don’t. trying to be content with what I have anyway.
Looking at the 20x8 ones. I want to get 4-5 pedals and my Katana Switches in it so it can be tucked away easy. I don’t gig but I’m still holding on to the dream that I’ll have some time to jam with some folks. And my little dude keeps running off with my pedals LOL.
I am my own SO, that makes it easy. Apparently I bought myself a new guitar, ordered it two months ago, still not here. Maybe by Christmas. If the dentist doesnt take all my money tomorrow I might get a new TV in a week or two
Pretty. I highly recommend having the active fuel management system disabled. This is a Hemi cam with about 55k miles on it. We just plan on changing them every 60k at work. All of our cars get oil changes on 5k intervals and the hemis all have their own oul seperate from all of the other cars. We have done everything Dodge has said to do and we still end up with this every 60k. The 2 test engines that we had the AFM disabled on to quit doing this. We just can't do it on all of them due to sunshine laws. Its not just the Dodges but Chevy has this issue too. Its due to the cam getting dry when the cylinder is temporarily disabled. I have not thought that far ahead yet. I'll probably get that Mission Engineering power brick I've been eying.
Me and Mrs. S are buying each other a new laptop. Our existing Walmart special is too slow and quite frustrating.
Yep. That's the reality of AFM. Why mine is off too. Plus with it disabled, believe it or not, mileage typically goes up. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Haven’t decided what to get the GF, yet. But she thinks we should get a better stove, so that may be the big thing. I may buy myself a Celestion Gold speaker to put in my Orange cab.
