I only drive it in sport mode. I think that disables the eco cylinder shut off. Hopefully it won’t be an issue.

We don’t buy each other gifts for Christmas or birthday (we do for our 14 year old son), instead we just buy what we want throughout the year. Two weeks ago I bought a PRS Custom 22 and next week I’m buyin a new pair of K2 Skis so I’m good.

For me, holidays are arbitrary and meaningless. However, I pretend for the kids.

At the heart of Christmas, the message is, think of others. So that's what I do. Or try to do. Make sure the kids are happy. Make sure the wife is happy. Call my mother. Smile at strangers. Drop a few bucks in the bucket. Toys for Tots. Food drive. Other than that, I don't give a crap.

Now birthdays are completely selfish holidays. That's when I buy myself that thing that I've been wanting. Depending on funds at the time. I try to keep a fiscal level head at (most) all times.

No Money and nothing for me here. I'll be lucky if I'll have a quiet Christmas with my family.

I think that you’re video clearly identified the problem!

The man obviously spent too much money on the wrong machine. I suspect that spending big bucks gave him a false sense of confidence.

It’s not about money, and every man over the age of sixty five will tell you that. It’s the thought that counts ~ end of story! And, i will give you some further advice by way of a specific example based on your videos demonstration.....

THE THOUGHT PROCESS......The man thinks about a great gift for his wife. One which she will love, as never before. One that will make her life and free time special, in the knowledge that you, her all loving husband, has contemplated, cogitated over and considered with great vigour and love. ...... NOT A CHOICE MADE LIGHTLY!

AND THE CORRECT GIFT for a busy wife:

1). Go to TESSCO (a well known retailers in the U.K. ~ or other disreputable store.

2). Purchase two (number) inexpensive vacuum cleaners. Thereby matching your video mans “Doole” bags machine.

3). Present two beautiful gifts for your lovely wife and, in a romantic voice, point out the benefits of having two machines.... I.e:

    A) one machine for the ground floor
    B) one machine for the first floor

the benefits being that she can save time, by not having to carry a heavy machine up the stairs, improving health and safety, by reducing physical strain from lifting heavy, more expensive dooole bag machine, save money, enabling you to give her less housekeeping money and, last but not least, having more time to focus on being a much better wife!

So young man, that’s what we mean when we say that “it’s the thought that counts”.

Or buy a couple robot vacs and she will be almost entirely free of vacuuming.

Hmm...being just my wife and I, we have it fine so not a lot we can really ask for. We/SHE wanted a kitchen island, so we bought one from Home Depot and told each other it would be a decent Christmas gift since we don't have much on the need this year. Pretty easy to assemble so that is done. No gift needs is a good problem to have.
If I were to get gear with would be an Irridium or a Supro 6420....the Helix is fine, but I always play the same 2 amps someone else can have a go with it once something changes!

I’m going to get my wife either a necklace or a bracelet. I should be able to score one really inexpensively, oh and I will get her a new blender. We agreed not to get each other anything, but I take that as meaning we won’t get anything for Me for Christmas, as I get myself gear all through the year.

If my husband got me a vacuum cleaner as a present, he'd get a reaction, all right....

A smack upside the head with a Telecaster, for starters...
