Well I got my Dunlop Cry Baby this weekend. I haven't had a wah pedal in like 40 years. I had a.Vox back then that got stolen. Was jamming with my son and some friends of his and one guy had a Cry Baby. The construction is amazing, like military grade or something. I'm enjoying it. I have a modeling amp with gobs of "pedals" and that's fine for me. The wah is the only pedal I know of that you can't simulate. So any how I like it, it's a lot of fun.

Before this thread takes off, may I ask a stupid question about abreviations? What does NPD stand for?

I'm cleaning up (and attempting repair) on some old pedals today. I'll be taking a look at my +30 yr old Dunlop Crybaby. I'm pretty sure it works, but got noisy, and I also lost the power adapter so it'll be battery time?
Anyway, those are very good wahs... and also very heavy.
Have fun with your new toy.

    I have a Cry Baby, circa 1977-ish.
    Wonder if it still works?

My mixer has a digital "auto wah" that I thought was cool, hitting that button the first time actually ended up being pretty integral to my deep dive into pedals. I, too, have a Cry Baby now (along with like 12 other pedals I didn't have a couple years ago). They're awesome.
