Glad to hear that everything seems to be going well! Also great that you're able to be walking around. When I was in the hospital with heart problems from Lyme Disease, I was pretty much restricted to my bed for over a week. When I finally got out of the ICU and into the general ward, I was a bit wobbly on my legs, but boy did it feel good to be able to walk on my own and take a shower, lol.

Nurses around here have needles and I am not only afraid of needles but at a huge disadvantage because when I try to run from them they can catch me.

Thankfully I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. But with that said, after the nerve block wore off i started to feel it. I have been able to do the Physical Therapy with only 1/2 the recommended dosage of the meds. I hate that stuff too. Makes me more stupid than I already am.

    I love those hospital socks!

How long before you're up and working?

    I missed this one.

Well, glad to hear it's turned into HKD!! Hopefully you can get rid of the mummy wrapping soon. Good that you are up and around already. Hope your recovery continues to go well! :)

Disregarding the prior missteps...it really is a miracle. The current state of the art knee is so far advanced beyond the first generation replacement, it's crazy...still, it's not as good as an original vintage human knee.

One of the reasons I'm losing weight is so I can get at least one of my knees replaced. I'm down about 40 lbs this year!

Today I got to meet with the doctor. Found out that I wasn't hallucinating. My knee had in fact failed as well as being the wrong kind from the last surgery. The tibial plate had come loose from the bone as well as a lot of other issues with the ligaments and other soft tissue getting caught in it while it was coming apart.
I have one small problem though. There is a hairline crack on my tibia so I am non weight bearing for the next few weeks. Though I still need to do the therapy.
Here is my new ride for a while too.

Glad to hear it went well and you're well on the road to recovery. You're officially a partscaster now though with all the aftermarket parts. :)

I will be discharged from the hospital today. They pulled the ACE wrap off today and put an Aquacell on it. So now I will be going home with both a walker and a pair of crutches because of the crack on my femur.
