    Oooohh very nice pair!

Is it as sweet as I imagine? Never had the chance to play one but I’d love one on looks alone lol.

Both of them are awesome. The Silver Sky is the best S type I’ve ever played, after I bought it I sold my EJ.

I’ve never played an EJ but it’s often said around these parts that they are the best Fender offering sub-Custom Shop.

I’m going to try my hardest not to play a Silver Sky because I’d be a dead man if another guitar came home lol.

I’ve owned all three EJ versions prior to the new Virginia that came out this year and they are the best Strat Fender offers. They were as good or better than the two CS I owned. For me the Silver Sky is even better than the EJ. I held of for 18 months on playing one because I didn’t want to like it since it wasn’t a Fender. Then November 2019 I bought my Custom 22 and fell in love with PRS so I tried the SS in February and bought it a week later.

I have a couple of PRS SEs - A Custom 24 Floyd + an SVN. Both solid Korean built guitars that scratch that "I want a Gibson but can't bring myself to go to the dark side" itch.

I got a Les Paul this time last year but just didn’t bond with it and moved it on in less than a couple of months.

The itch returned for an LP type... I’m very happy I discovered this PRS model though as I’ve no doubt that within a couple of months of buying a Gibson, she’d be back up on Reverb for sale lol.

PRS SE's are just great guitars: so intelligently designed and carefully executed. People think of them as "cold" or something in their perfection, but that's ridiculous.

    Congratulations! Great looking top.

I've been a Strat and PRS guy for the last 19 years. You can get a nice variety of sounds, just by using the controls (don't set everything at 10).

    Sweet collection!

I love the look of those singlecut semis but I’ve never tried or heard one. How do you find it?

This is an S2 so made in the US but with some electronics from the SE line.

I had an SE a few years back that I regretted selling. My S2 has reminded me just how bad of a decision it was to let the SE go!

Nice. I've never had a guitar w/ that style bridge that didn't sound great, by the way. I wonder why.

I have the 277 (27.7" scale), which is their baritone w/ P90's. I don't know whether they make that any more.

My S2 Singlecut Semi is carved, light and resonant. It sounds and plays more like a full hollow body, even though it's thin.

My burst is a Zach Myers SE. It's more like a chambered Les Paul, with a laminated top.

How do you guys keep your guitars so nice? My cat/avatar wizzes all over mine. You can see by his expression what an a----e he is.

I can report, by the way, that polyurethane is wizz-resistant.

Very nice. I’m sure you’ll like it.

I have a regular 594, and it is a really nice guitar (despite the fact that I’m quite in love with it as I am my Custom 22s). PRS makes a great product.
