Got a new speaker today off a guy on Ebay for a steal. It is a Jupiter 10SC, made by WGS. I thought for the longest time this was the same speaker as the Veteran 10 but it is not. Felt dust cap instead of mesh, basket is vented differently and I believe the Jupiter has a Kapton voice coil former and the Veteran has a paper one. Compared to my reissue C10R, this speaker is bolder sounding with smoother treble and presence, fatter/ slightly tighter bass and a very vocal open midrange: the overdrive is out of this world. Not even broken in it blows my broken in C10R away. Sounds stunning in my Single Channel 5G9 Tremolux. Would recommend to anyone willing to try it!
