I got a new used guitar yesterday on the 13th. Classic Seriers 60's in LPB. I have been gassing for one of these for about a year now and really bad in the last month. It came yesterday, I like it a lot, MZ7 serial so I am guessing 07/08 maybe. The specs on these says Vintage single coil pickups, anyone know if there was an official model for the pickup in 07? I will try to get around to cleaning it up today and changing the strings, they feel like they are the original strings really bad, but the guitar still feels great to play.

I will stop being envious just long enough to congratulate you. Congrats on your new/used guitar. Now I'm back to being envious.

I changed the strings and cleaned the fretboard this morning I couldn't take it any longer. That also gave me a chance to look at the frets, I'll have to do a level and crown on it. I have some dents on the 1st to 4th frets and have a high spot around the 17th that's buzzing. Overall I am really happy with it, it's in great shape for 10 year old guitar. Nut is cut really well and it stays in tune great, no scratchy pots and it sounds really good unplugged very resonate. I had to raise the pickups some they were buried for some reason, maybe the previous owner like that weaker sound or was play with some high gain. Thanks everyone.
