Pinball has made a comeback! Video games almost killed them, but they are being made again. (Pinball machines are easily frightened, but they'll be back soon, and in greater numbers, we must be cautious!) Most machines are, sadly, production tie-ins, but some originals are being made, and some classics being re-made.

    Tube Amps :p j/k... j//k

    For real though:

I love old personal computers. From the early 80s. Before MS-DOS. Commodore, Atari, Texas Instruments. Something so cool about old school personal computers. Had their own OS. No compatibility across the board. Tape drives!

I smoked those things for 10 years and I'd never heard of this until now...!?!

Spouse tells me that the katakana characters for Kirin Beer are hidden in the graphic of the creature on the label...
    These:
    キリン
    Somewhere in this:

It makes for mild amusement every once in awhile...my consumption of beer being limited to a particular restaurant that plays Sumo on television...

spouse watches Sumo, I study the Kirin label.

Now I'm told that mr. 'male appendage nose' has naked boys and girls hidden on him?

    Now ya tell me.

I have a library in my house with TWO sets of encyclopedias and annuals. Got them when one of the local libraries had a big sale.

Not quite obsolete as it’s still very active in some areas. Granted the heyday is long gone. Mine still up and running. Why? In an emergency it’s a viable means of communication. A lot off the 4 wheelers in this area are running them albeit from the look of there antenna installations they work like crud.

Had to post... been playing radio since 1973 and both a CBer and a Ham.:)
