If one exists, please let this calmly die...

I could not find a jaguar or jazzmaster owners club... So here it is.

My jaguar (blacktop) and by brand new AVRI '65 jazzmaster.

    Bring on the pics!

Never learned why these are considered 'offsets'. Please explain.

The body curves are offset compared to the symmetrical strats and teles. Notice how the upper curve in the body is higher than the bottom curve.

Here are mine, a Thinskin JM, a Thurston Moore JM and an AVRI Jaguar.

A little guitar made in Italy in 1978 (i think that was the year...it was def late 70's) by a company named "Welson"

Not too common around where I live, and if you try to search up and research the company you won't find a lot of info...
but it's definitely a gem to me.

btw took off the bridge to clean it up and forgot to put it back on for pictures sooo you'll just have to use your imagination ;)

Oh and I know it's not exactly a JM or Jag..

The Jaguar is an AVRI 62.
The Thinskin is based on a '62. It has AVRI 62 electronics but the neck is a slab with a 9.5 inch radius and medium frets.

66 JM given to me by my dad a few years back for Christmas, he's original owner. He stripped the orig candy apple eons ago. the wiring had gone balky (bad grounds) I decided to restore it and give it back for his 60th last year.
Sanded, rewired all the grounds, repainted Candy apple. He was floored!

Here's one. I made the body from an old waterbed frame. I picked up the neck on CL for $16. I made the bridge plate from a piece of scrap aluminum and I cut out the pickguard from a plastic waste basket. It's apart waiting for me to get off my butt and paint it.

Here's my 1994 MIJ Jazzmaster. I've swapped out the bridge for a Mustang bridge and put in a Staytrem Arm and Collet like the one Johnny Marr has on his Jag.
