Got my oldest son's Strat Partscaster together last evening.

Used Mighty Mite alder body, used Birdseye Warmoth 10-16 compound neck. New Rainville Strat vintage style pickups.

That's really nice. I LOVE the neck. The grain on the body looks great. I like the color, too. Good job!

We didn't do any finishing. Just bolted the used parts together.
That was the way things where bought. All nitro finish.
He bought some nitro & wants to tints it white to spray over the body. Then relic a bit so the vintage nitro shows through a few spots.

BEAUTIFUL! REALLY diggin' the body and the neck grain patterns.

I'm considering that tint for refin on my Strat body- love the 'aged' look that allows the grain to show through!

    GOOD JOB!

BTW- I was looking for a Mighty Mite body for a buddy a few weeks ago...seems there are a lot of necks but few bodies. Can you share where you got yours? Thanks!

Got it used out of Toronto through online site Kijiji, buy & sell.

The fellow said it was a Mighty Mite. I see no markings, but there was a neck shim glued in, which I may have to remove to set neck deeper, to allow for higher action. Bridge adj is at max, & still too low. String need to come up more, so neck has to go down.

    Very pretty!

But if it’s a Warmoth neck, why does it say Fender?
