I refer to my wife as the Financial Advisor in these situations.
I have 11 guitars and have only had three wives. I’m winning .... right?
Good luck getting all three to agree you can get another guitar. Poor guy!
Me too. Her sisters ask why she “lets me” spend money the way I do. She tells them that keeps me from cheating like their husbands do. Guys that are happy at home don’t look for their happiness outside the home.
My wife encourages me to spend money on guitars - but there is nothing I really want or need.
Mine doesn't encourage it but she certainly doesn't discourage it either. When I got my ES335 I was actually looking to buy a Tokai copy and she insisted I get the 'real' deal!
You know you have a keeper when she buys you the guitar...
Right now the conversations at our house are like:
Me: That Les Paul R8 is so nice but I can't justify spending so much money on a guitar!
Her: Yes you can, go on you deserve it.
She's nearly won me over...
