Thanks for the awesome backer @IsaiasO ........

Question.....to my ears it works just as well with E major.
Am I right, or do my ears deceive me?
The bass riff is undoubtedly fretted as minor but the bassist is doing the old Jack Bruce trick of bending the the string somewhere between minor and major. It's one of the reasons a song like Spoonful never sounds right played on organ. The guitar part could well include an E7, for instance, making the feel more major than minor. Well, that's how I hear it, anyway.

As Simon said. ^^^^^^

To me it's Minor from the bassline, but I used power chords in my take which allows you to make no distinction as far as guitar chords are concerned and leave it to the bass to make the determination. The fills that I used were E Minor Pentatonic.

I did use a half step for a Phrygian-like feel in a few places as did @Alan L Cole but he featured the Phrygian mode more predominantly in his solo.

Now that sounds like a bona fide band take that just needs the vocal track. Super-imaginitive changes and scale patterns.
Thanks very much! If you would like to add the vocal track that would be fabulous.
It was 2 takes….cos I lost the plot halfway through….and the backwards guitar at the start was added as an edit.

Sorry guys but I'm going to be late on this one. On Sunday I had a run in with a kitchen knife and the knife won. I've got a bit of a slice on my right hand index finger so I'm at least a few days away from being able to comfortably hold a pick. :(

I'll have a listen to everyone a bit later.
