The Raspberries are cool, kind of Beatles influenced in a 70's style.
Oranges is a play on origins.
Brad Delp and Eric Carmen are twins from different mothers.
My favorite tune of theirs.
On the Mike Douglas show! I remember as a kid watching that especially the week John Lennon was a co-host.

I totally get it. I wouldn't got so far as to call the infringement card, but the influence in the vocal harmonies and other parts of the later arrangement is indisputable, to me.

Exactly Si. Even the timbre of Delp's voice is similar to Carmen's.
Some goobers just hear guitars. The rest of the world listens to the vocals. And there is where the similarities lie.
