Brad, I just read the latest posts. Obviously, RB would wish you to have the full initiation pack above if he were here to officiate. There were many variations, some of which included the key to the executive washroom and a steak dinner, at a member's house.

Apologies, dear fellow member who was supposed to provide this dinner, I can't remember your full name. I know you were a regular around here for a long time.

I may look up RB on Facebook and demand my washroom key.

That's quit a list... Almost a 55 years of aquisitions.

One set of mahogany elbows. - I have no idea what these are.
A pack of Planters peanuts. - Obviously stolen off the service cart of a DC-3.
One bottle of IBC black cherry soda. - Cheap Bast**d. Where the hell is the rest of the six pack?
An 8/5 blue/black dominoe. - That will go with my double 5.
One comb. - Useless to me now.
A pink rotary Princess phone. - Goes with my fuzzy pink slippers :)
One piece of Double Bubble chewing gum. - Good for emergency kayak repair.
A can of sardines in water. - What? No wafers?
One Hot Wheels car. - Double Trouble
A silver Sharpie. - Convienent hair color touchup.
A styrofoam cooler. - I need that for my ONE bottle of IBC Black Cherry.
Penny candy. - Obviously from 1967 as that was the last time I saw penny candy.
497.5' of rope. - Who stole the other 2 and a half feet?
    A pin knife. - Excellent
A Vicks bue jar. - Nuclear provisions.
A Cracker Jack toy. - That is the best part.
A Weaving Loom Kit. - I can knit myself some hair!
    Luden's Cough Drops. - Check
Half a loaf of Wonder Bread. - I only need to make half sandwhiches anyways.
One Bobbie Sock (we couldn't find the other one). - It's behind my dryer.
One Tony's Home Permanent. - See comb above.
Mickey Mouse Club ears. - Hopefully with Annette still attached.
A Magic Slate. - The original PDA.
A paper bag book cover...slightly used. - My 6th grade math book need recovering.
A 1961 Sears catalog (some pages missing due to a brief stay in Grandma's outhouse). - Pass
A pack of Aspergum. - Good for the music theory study sessions.
A Good n Plenty bar. - Good for the music theory study sessions.
A used Bic lighter. - Good for staff sheets gone wrong.
Seven Q tips. - one for each day of the week.
A bottle of coconut water. - millenial bait.
One Dr Sholl's foot pad. - with only one sock...
A Jacks set. - low budget burglar alarm. Have you ever stepped on one?
A roll of caps (how many of you know what that is). - My Tom Mix cowboy set needs them.
And you will be contacted by our own Grim Reaper to teach you the secret handshake. - Nice guy really.

I know I'm getting old. I just jumped from an old Nokia Windows phone to an iPhone, and it took me the best part of a day to get the data backed up and transferred. Young people seem to do this stuff in about 30 seconds.

I've never really bothered having everything synced before, so remembering the log-in details for MS OneDrive, then getting the iPhone synced to it so I didn't lose my phone contacts took ages. As for rescuing my pictures... a solid hour of trauma after MS said it didn't recognize my password, then when I got a code to allow me to create a new password, said I couldn't use the one I keyed in because that was my old password!

'Scuze me, if you knew that was my old password, why didn't you let me in the first time?

The stupid thing is, I mostly only use my phone for, well you know, phone calls. Oh, and WhatsApp, which I've managed to get back, but minus everything that was on the threads. Well, that's progress.

Make a call on a phone? Blasphemy. EMail, SMS or in app texting. Why would anyone want to hear my voice when I can waste time fighting the spelling checker?

I imagined it would be many years yet before we saw you round here, seriously. But yeah, happy birthday. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Hoping you are mended now, or well on the way.

Just realised I haven't been hanging round here, or ST, so much lately. Sorry to anyone who got their 'like' late!

How goes, founder member? It's been a while. :)
