Yeah...she’s bad again this morning so I’m taking her to the ER. She’s arguing, a bit...
Get her down there, could be anything.
Hoping for a happy resolution.
Best to get her checked up, I agree.
Hope they'll find what's bothering her. Perhaps you need to get a urine sample. Make her drink water.
All the best!
Didn't see this earlier, but I really hope this turns out to be something easily dealt with.
Parent of the year.
Carch Lenny at the Casino next year lol.....
Hope your daughter gets better!!
Prayers for you and your daughter. May she get better soon.
I hope she’s ok - kids health can be scary - it’s probably no big deal but you have to err on the side of caution. There’s no better or more important job than being a parent. Mine are grown now, and our role has transitioned into occasional emeritus advisor, but it’s still the best part of life - there is no greater love than a that of a parent for a child...
A neck lock usually works, while quoting the immortal line from the parenting manual "You know it's for your own good!"
I hope she's better soon, having the kids ill is far worse than being ill yourself.
Hope she feels better soon... it’s not worth the risk to be casual about stuff like this.
While we were living in Malaysia my eldest daughter Meg one night was running a bit of a fever, my wife made me take her down to the local hospital to see the GP. She ended up being admitted with Dengue Fever and had to spend a week in the ICU, it was pretty scary.
That is scary!
She’s sleeping now after taking a bath. I’ll let her sleep and we’ll go later with her father.
(@Thrup'ny Bit The neck lock would be tough since she’s bigger than I and I’ve got frozen shoulder ...)
I think at this point stress (exams) is a factor.
Details, mere details...
Hoping all turns out well and she feels better soon ! Parenting is the hardest game there is and comes with no instruction manual ....
If you think parenthood is interesting, wait until you experience grandparenthood. Making decisions about what is best for your kids is one thing... but knowing what is best for their kids and having your hands tied while the morons make the same mistakes you made... ugh
Hope everything works out for you all.
Not to be alarmist, but I'd say get her looked at ASAP. Could be appendicitis. Mine ruptured right of nowhere last year, thought I was going to die.
Do we have an update, Miss?
I sure hope she is well and all is okay.
My girls are 19 and 20 now. You never stop worrying.
I hope she is better!
Thanks, all. She is much better and ready to go back to school tomorrow.
Well that's good to hear!! Stomach sickness that goes on for days is no fun...for kid or parent .
Good to hear.
