Well if Olympic White is a pastel I'm in.
CIJ ST72 non scalloped Blackmore 'Tribute'....
I don't like pastels on anything but pretty girls and strats.
Nothing else pulls it off.
911s. I always thought the Strat is the 911 of guitars. The shape was so odd to start with, but has since become ubiquitous, so unchanging, almost mundane, and yet you want one in every colour for no good reason.
Interesting bridge; I always thought that the string through body was a must on a Tele
It's one of those hotly debated topics. Like rosewood vs maple, humbucker vs single coil, nitro vs poly.
If there is a difference, it's pretty subtle, and it's subjective.
I had an idea a while ago called the Gobstopper strat, like the candy. So it would be white on the outside and as it wears you will see the 3 or 4 other colours.
I've since seen this done, don't know if it was nitro but still has been done. I also like the colour over colour Fenders but they are always or usually just over sunburst,
I guess to replicate the originals. So colours like shell pink, sonic blue, etc would have been a custom colour, so it's highly unlikely to see a pastel over pastel Fender.
So yeah, I wanted the colour over colour look.
It's a 1997 collectors edition. It's basically an AVRI 62 strat that looked like an SRV strat. I have modded it a whole bunch, tusq nut, 12 inch radius, 6100 frets, routed for HSH, it was once fiesta red but now pink/blue
Lots of eye candy.
I would not turn down the gift of a pastel 911.
My little contribution.
i guess this qualifies as a pastel?
My Suhr Classic Pro in “Fiesta Red”
Oh man I’m digging that one. Such a creamy shade of Olympic white. What are the specs / pickups? Is that a mint pickguard ? Can’t place it.
