Getting this for $25!!!
Can't go wrong there, the older Peaveys are built like a tank. I had a solid state Stereo Chorus 212 that I used for years.
Only one thing wrong with Peavey....
If you say "I got a new amp it was cheap and it's loud!!" some Strat Talker will say "Oh, you got a Peavey?"
(this actually happened to me...not naming any names.....amstratnut...."}
As long as it's not a RAGE 108, you'll be fine
One of the best amps I ever had was an old peavey...they are tanks.
Hopefully you didn't need to move it very often.
I have a Stereo Chorus with EVMs; it's almost immovable.
It does loud and clean very well.
Wow! I never get deals like that.. Congrats.
I was a little younger back then!
I have a '66 Bassman cabinet with EVs, my God that thing is heavy!
Can't see the model but I think I have one like it or similar to it in my hallway. Mine weighs a ton so it has been there for quite some time.. I'd almost bet you could buy a new one just for the price of shipping.
At one time I could carry around VW engines by myself. Now I can hardly carry the small tool kit to work on them.
Congrats on a great deal. Enjoy it.
The only Peavey I have is the TNT-115 bass, takes two people to move it.
Older Peavey tube amp?
