Pretty much guarantee nobody here will like this one. I’m about 90% sure I’ll refinish it somehow but it sure plays well. It started life as a 2003 MIM in white but as so many of those in that color did the finish started coming off in large chunks. It’s got CS69 AY pickups, Grover tuners and a Babicz Full Contact bridge.

I don't mind a good project, but yikes! WTH is up with that neck?

A diamond in the rough. All the good parts are there! I must admit though, I really hate when people do that to the back of the neck on a guitar. Also, love your Tele there!

I kinda dig the finish. Not too keen on the neck as it seems to be mismatched (too new looking) but I do dig the finish.

You should strip it and refinish it properly

It was white originally over a mettalic pink?
Or someone put pink over the white?
It looks like sprayed pink over white over base coat... Just curious. :)

It was one of these. I've had 4-5 in this same color myself that had this issue.

After 30 seconds with some sand paper.

    Before

After. Still not great but much better.

CS69 AY pickups. These are selling for stupid prices on ebay.

The guitar is so light I was afraid it wasn't genuine Fender but it is.

I actually quite like the finish, but it's got the guy's daughter's name on it so it'll have to go. I think the black Babicz bridge will go as well, not a fan of black hardware.

Sand down that crap on the back of the neck, put a different PG on it, play. Done.

Edit: Above posted at same time. Also sand out that name!

Let me know what you want to do with that bridge. Maybe we can work something out.

It’s a cool guitar, just has the wrong pick guard. 12DF1284-3C91-4A87-9F91-FB6078B8E647.jpeg
