I was trying to wrap my head around that light aged looking mint since I've never seen one. Until last night. I ventured out into full germ territory to get some strings at Guitar Center. They had a new Strat with a light mint pickguard. I was impressed. Although I like white and black pickguards I thought the mint color made it look more upscale.

The one benefit of everyone staying home right now with the cornholio virus wafting everwhere, is that I was able to go into Guitar Center and actually play some acoustics without hearing 10 guitar players with 6 months of experience blasting away on some tone devoid shredder setting. It was awesome.

Thanks, they do look very similar. This is a 2017 Namm Ltd 63 aged sea foam.

    WHAT I SAID....

BUT, ya know, I kinda like the 3-ply white ( and white pearl, too ) with it.

I think the black looks fine. But if you just want something different, my other choices would be tort or pearl white.

I have a bright white one on mine now, but thinking about installing a mint one I have loaded and ready to go. I'll post pics, before and after.

I'd say go with mint 3-ply or white 3-ply. It needs that black line to highlight the pickguard profile.
