    I'm a huge fan of tort especially on solid colors, but you can always go out on a limb and get a distressed brown leather pickguard.

    The poll and thread confirm my suspicions: tortoise shell is popular, but most people either really like it or really don't.

    Let's be honest the guitar looks just sweet with any of the three (not the pearled though!)

    Hope you're happy in your choice and .... you can always swap about again if you want now.

    Gotta go with the black. A white Strat with a black PG always looks classy AND modern. The real question is whether you keep the pickup covers black or white...

    I’d likely keep them white.

    Yeah, black with white is a classic combination. I easily could have gone that way. Still can, if I get tired of the parchment. Thanks!
