How did you come up with that !!!!
In my opinion, the sunburst is a pretty good deal, especially considering the case. The black is not a good deal. With that chip, I wouldn't pay $225 for the black.
Thanks for the reply. that was my concern originally, whether or not someone removed the headstock decal.
I contacted the sunburst owner, hopefully he hasnt sold it in the last 24 hrs.
If I can buy it, I will definitely update the thread.
You all have been very helpful
Let us know the outcome Mendez. And more photos
Yeah man, grab that one if you can! Best of luck!
Usually I’m partial to black Strats with maple fretboards and white plastic. However, given the age, condition, and case...No brainer.
Update:The sunburst owner never responded, but...
Today I found 2012 black MIM standard for sale and luckily it was local!
I am now an owner of a black MIM standard!
It needs a restring, but is in very good condition
still has the protective film on the pickguard and backplate
Congratulations and welcome! Nice first guitar. Enjoy the journey!
The sunburst owner didnt respond but I found and bought a 2012 mim black standard today.
I posted some pictures in the thread.
Yeah, I read that after I had posted. A reminder to read the thread before responding I guess LOL
Any how, looks like you did well!
Congrats, that is a nice looking one. Is everything original on it?
everything is original.
Original owner too, he had it sitting around since he bought an american strat.
Thank you for all the help!
nice! now get practicing
I'd go for the most recent one
Nice score, that black one looks great - enjoy
I like the burst, would have been a good one -- here's mine
It's a 2000 MIM with 2 Pure Vintage '65s and a dual rail that will go when I get a different single coil bridge pup
That's a really nice looking guitar you got there + buying local is always the most convenient way.
HNGD now go and play the hell out of it
Congratulations on your purchase. Glad you found one local, she looks great. Enjoy.
Welcome to the Strat fraternity and enjoy your new guitar.
