Just had to share ANOTHER REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE WITH CANADIAN GUITAR BUILDING COMPANY TONEBOMB!! I just recieved my 5th “F” style body made of lovely pine( without a doubt an incredible tone wood often overlooked), it’s a tele, 3 1/2 pound, routed for a tele ashtray bridge & a P-90 neck pickup!!
I’ve built many high end strats & tele’s from Tonebomb & their all just SMASHING SOUNDING!! For all of you wood buffs remember, pine is a spruce-family wood & streight grained spruce has been used to top-plates for acoustic stringed instruments (& pianos) for HUNDREDS OF YEARS!!!
The newest body is gona be a killer guitar after I have MATT @ MJT GUITAR FINISHES lacquer a butterscotch finish on it, including that amazing RELIC treatment they do!!!
MJT IS UNQUESTIONABLE THE SUPETIOR RELIC FINISH TREATMENT GIES!!!They did a 55’ style 2 tone-sunburst relic nitro finish, on a strat body for me that’s nothing short of INCREDIBLE & realistic!!!
I mistakenly ordered a pickguard for the body & like the amateur I am, forgot to include the word- LEFTHANDED!!
I wrote ALLISON @ TONEBOMB, told her I was absent minded & ORDERED THE TELE-P-90-neck p-u-wrong & needed the right one!!ALLISON was sooo KOOL! She said there’d make me one up & ship it right out!!! NO FRIGGIN CHARGE!!! My stupid mistake & their takin care of the fee’s!!! I tell ya, thoes Canadians know how to take care of a customer!!!

For a 67-year-old, you're quite excitable, aren't you? I vote with @Stratoholic on this one.

That’s the real shame & misfortune about a pro-Luthier- inventor-author-repairman like MYSELF,& writing about my exceptional treatment by a vender, & wanting to pass on VALUABLE FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE to the horde of pathetic wana-Be guitar gies, who write in questions like-“ Which tele pickup is best” instead of informing players of a company that is anti-hype-& makes exceptional products, aimed at the casual & pro woodworker,& my promotion is viewed as suspicious instead of checking the company out themselves- pitty!

Pardon my cynicism, but it still reads like a very hyped up paid advertisement. For a small company, it's much easier to pay regular people to rave about them on the internet, than to advertise in any normal way. It happens all the time. Way more than most people could guess. The video game industry relies heavily on advertising in that way. Musical instrument manufacturers increasingly rely on you tubers to promote their products, and you know those you tubers are not doing it out of kindness.

Oh, and I did take a look. Their website is virtually unusable, but do they have a tiny selection on Reverb and Ebay.

Very nice of them to send you the right stuff, even though it was totally your mistake.

I looked up his website. Seems like he really knows what he’s doing with guitars.. but his post is completely unintelligible. Some peoples’ meanings come through just fine in conversation, but in text.. not so much.

I’m the opposite. I ramble and mumble in person.. but can generally get my point across via typing. Being able to edit helps.
