    Hey all,

Looking for thoughts on the latest installment of my Animals cover - "Sheep". Perhaps the most underrated track on the album. What do ya'll think?

    Very well done.
It's not easy to cover Floyd and do it properly.

    Nice one! Great tune!

Do you play all of the instruments and sing?

In 1977 for my 14th bday a new friend bought me Pink Floyd Animals (I had just moved to California the previous fall from New York). It became and still is my all-time favorite album. I go back and forth between Dogs and Sheep as my favorite song in the album. Gilmour’s guitar is phenomenal on the fade-out as is the bass lead-in by Waters.

I love this album so much I often go through it start to finish in my head if I’m ever caught on a line with nothing to do or at a boring meeting at work or trying to get to sleep at night.

Roger Waters latest tour did a fantastic renditions of Dogs and Pigs (Three Different Ones) but not Sheep unfortunately.

Great playing on your version. Thanks for posting!

No, I just did the guitars, vocals and mixing. I collaborated with a bassist and keyboardist. I refuse to compromise on performance quality by doing the "one man band" thing.

For me, this album was a late discovery. In my PF journey, I had beaten to death The Wall, Meddle, Wish You Were here, Dark Side, and even Final Cut and Momentary Lapse of Reason. I decided to bite and it became my favorite PF album for a long time. I had never heard any of the songs...none of them got beaten to death on the radio, so to me it was "obscure".

Like most PF albums, I think Animals is best enjoyed listening from beginning to end.

Love that song, and that entire album. Some of DG's finest work.

Darn right! If I could play those solos on Dogs anywhere near as good or with such feeling I’d be a happy guitarist! Maybe one day...:)

    Sounds great bro.
Lately I've started playing some Floyd songs, maaaan Gilmour's bends are c-r-a-z-y. half a tone, 2.5 tones.
