A couple of my friends took me trap shooting for my birthday and I freaking loved it. We followed up with another two rounds today and man is it fun.

The first time I shot 18/25 and then 22/25 and today I shot a 19/25 and another 22/25. I was really mad that I didn’t break 22, but that just means I need to go back and practice.

It’s a lot of fun and very relaxing. I enjoy being out in the fresh air and the social aspect. I can’t wait to go back.

I do. Although I was recommended to have hearing aids recently.

It's really cool how relaxing and almost therapeutic shooting can be. Mrs. Believer and I went to the range today for some paper plinking.

Nice shooting!!! Yeah it’s really relaxing. And for me, I love the challenge of moving targets.

This is my target from the last time I went shooting with my
Son. 25 yards. I think the gun was a Beretta 9mm. I wish I would have wrote it down. 10 shots. It is relaxing. My son, who is in the army can get that kind of group at 300 yards or more, with a rifle. I certainly can’t.

I would like to shoot clays. Expensive though. I would have to whittle down the guitar funds to be able to afford it.

Moving targets are really fun for sure. I've shot tap many times and it is always a challenge and fun to do.
I grew up shooting but Mrs. Believer has only v been shooting for little over a year. She normally has a tighter pattern than I do but today I was a little more on my game than I normally am.

Yeah I did a lot of flat range work back in my army days so I’m a believer in regular trigger time. I just don’t do it. Lol

Honestly pistol shooting is more expensive by a long shot. The club I go to is pretty cheap.

A friend of mine runs a noisy musical instrument-making workshop. (He makes trumpets and other brass.) A while back, he got hearing aids. He commented to me how loud the pneumatic hammer sounded with them fitted, even with the ear protectors on. At the risk of stating the obvious, it's best to take the hearing aids out before making loud, percussive noise, even if you have ear protectors on. Otherwise, you're attenuating the noise, then amplifying it again.

Do you use an optic or open sights? As much as I would like to put optics on mine I don't want to have the slide milled for it.

Its funny that we all share the same opinion, Shooting is a relaxing thing to do.
I have not been to the range since 97 (Holy smokes) Still have my favorites tho.
Ammo for them is expensive too! Some times i'll just shoot my old pellet gun out in the back.

Trap shooting or any clay shooting is so much fun it's ridiculous. Glad you took it up. I love it....

The new ones are fancy and voice activated. You just say “pull” and they auto launch.

Oh man… I’ve been lusting after having a real flintlock rifle. I think they’re works of art.

It’s so much fun. I couldn’t believe it. And I’m not bad at it for a beginner so that helps. :)

When I go shooting I get so focused in my concentration nothing else matters. It is very therapeutic and relaxing. :thumb:
