I like that very much, now it's become all about the music, not the widdling. Nicely done.

Thanks Dave. It's a very cool backer that lends itself to a lot of approaches IMO.

Thanks, I try to leave the backers as ambiguous as I can, it's not always easy.

Subtle! Almost Dire Straits does space rock. Very nice. :)

I'm currently grappling with crosspicking so I can get the best out of this 12-string. Because I've barely used a flat-pick in more than 10 years, it's taking a bit of time. Give it a few days and I should be more up to speed, because I'm putting the hours in.

    Did someone say, 'ambiguous'?
    Spooked

'Angel' (tele with SD Jazz neck humbucker and flatwounds) into Fly Rig 5 'Plexi'.
i just wanted to see how far i could take that bass and drum track harmonically
    without
    getting into real dissonance...
apologies to @Thrup'ny Bit, but Jass might approve, LOL.
Then again, maybe not... he's a bit of a traditionalist, and a stickler for the details.
    But it's
    Spacey SaTurday for me, so...
    :D

Jass is looking at me rather ambiguously there...
but i'll take it for a smile of approval.

Thanks Omar but at that level I usually get hit with tomatos and other assorted vegitables.

Jass cleans up pretty well. He looked like heck when he was yelling at me.

It's past two in the morning here, but here's my latest attempt:

I need some chill out and sleep time before I listen to anyone else.

The 12 string adds an interesting, almost eastern vibe Simon. Thought your solo was cool and liked how you played through the modulation section.
