    Reminds me... A while back we had Little Wing for a weekly jam. My take was truly aweful but I put it on SC and named it appropriately. I think I called it Little Broken Wing or something lile that, it got 310 plays in a day. Oh, how wonderfully disappointed those 310 people must have been :D

    A month isn't really that long to be working on a tune for me.
    There are some standards that i've been working on for half my life already,
    and probably will still be working on until i physically can't any more, LOL.

    Some of those standards can be played endlessly and still offer new possibilities.

    When I was in my early twenties, I was arrogant enough to think I knew quite a lot about music. I've learned many things since then, of which the most valuable is undoubtedly how much more I still have to learn.

    Thankfully, these threads have greatly encouraged that learning process. :)

    back during PJW days, i was amazed at how fast tunes like Mood Indigo slipped away from me once i stopped playing them regularly... (not that i ever really had them)

    This one is just the beginning. It requires fine tuning.

    Mr Bits, how is the slacker? :p

    That's a fine start. A bit rough around the edges, but the core is definitely there. I'll push more gently now.:)

    Thank you ;) I’ll use the same riff and refine the edges. I’ll work from there. :)

    @montemerrick (fuzz) - I don't think your use of the fuzz was an excessive use of fx Monte. Nice thematic riffin'.
    @simoncroft (unified) - You've assembled a cool arrangement Simon.
    @montemerrick (adheres) - Cool intro, nice clean tone and melody Monte.
    @Thrup'ny Bit (Part B - Beautiful tone and chord work Dave.
    @Omar - Sounds great Omar! Really like your chord work and your melody was well played with a nice touch and sweet tone. Cool outro too.
    @mjea80 - Nice noodling. Your soloing played well with your cool chord work. Nice.

    There it is Omar! Very nice. I would just bring up the level on your melody track.

    You and me both @mjea80. There are some nice examples on these threads of nice rhythm work.
