    Three chords A, D, and E.

The most basic thing we play involves the I, the IV, and the V. Most of the time it's a straight forward circle: I/IV/V/IV/I.

This weeks episode involves trying to mix it up.

The A part is the I and the V.
    The B part is V/IV/I
The C part is IV/I ending on the V.

As always with the PMW, it's just bass and drums. You provide the rhythm, the melody and a lead part. Write a tune.

You can do whatever you want with it. But the original track has to be in there. This is not a jam thing. This is a compositional thing!

I hope you have fun. I had a great time making the backer. LOL

    As a reminder:

Here's the Practical Music Workshop Challenge:

Play a rhythm part. Anything that sounds good to you.

Play a melody. Any melody. But do write a melody.

    Solo in the middle.

    Come back to the melody.

If you don't play a rhythm part, you didn't meet the challenge.

If you dont play a repeating melody, you didn't meet the challenge.

If you just solo...well that's not what this is about. Jass Jassington will ask you to leave the stage :D

great challenge, seems simple, but subtle is like that... a great poet i know, Toni Libro, said that seeming is being... but seeming simple and being simple may be the same in the end, but they don't often start off there.

Seriously great job, mate! :thumb::thumb::thumb: Yeah, the lead comes in a bit loud, but very catchy and well played.

I had the same design of bass as a Dynalectron. Made in Italy maybe 1977 and actually pretty good. Mine was a fretless, which didn't quite work for me, because of the relatively short scale.

What fun. Kept it pretty simple since time is short these days.
