Here's a change that has always fascinated me:

    Score.png

Here's what it sounds like, with the first chord sounded twice at the end, just so you can hear what a difference putting the D an octave below makes:

For anyone not keen on reading from the stave, the first chord is C, E, F, A with a D in the bass and the second is D, F, A, with a Bb in the bass. Again, if you shift the low Bb up so it's the high note, the result is nothing like as pleasing. Partly, it's because there's a certain dissonance, but also the contrary motion in the change is lost.

My old JB up and down works here too. Same triad. A bunch chords. ;)

I suppose the first chord is C major 6/add9 with D in the bass and the second is a straight Dm with a Bb in the bass. Whatever they're called, I really like it!

Sorry: slightly crossed wires. The server is clearly in meltdown. Likes and emoticons are now on a waiting list. Posts now require the correct stamps.

There is some really great stuff here, you guys are killing it. Here is a late submission (in the hopes no one would see it) that should have been deleted I realize it didn't work afterwords, computer trouble has me doing it this way so sorry for the format and quality. I have never been afraid to embarrass myself so here is a first try after sort of knowing the chords (almost)

Thank you, But I feel like it was not quite a half assed effort and I will get my recording situation fixed soon. These workshops are awesome and I want to be in on them.

My computer is down and kid is rebuilding it for me, we tried some new software on my old laptop but it just would not run it. So for now my phone is all I got, but the computer will be online soon. It's really a timing issue, I have none and neither does my kid.

I have some older software ( Sony Vegas) I could hook you up with. It should run fine on Vista or 10.

The backing track has been pulled, and I would ask that anyone who has downloaded it not repost it in it's original form. Thanks.
