You don't know how close I was to quoting the organ solo from Runaway!

I'm sure that's what everybody thought I was going to play, I had to work very hard not to.

Hope I did everything right, hardest part was to come up with any usable melody, you can feel free to comment and analyze.

Just great. Del Shannon was rumored to be a new Wilbury after Roy died. Shame that never happened.

Losing control can be freedom. Great track Monte.

Stellar stuff. Great melody. Killing it. :D

Not crap. Also channeling Del Shannon on the i-VII-VI-V.

For fun and if you feel like it...try playing a straight Rhythm track.

With the exception of the F, all of the chords can be played open cowboy style. Especially the i-ii°7-V7.

If you've ever played Like A Hurricane, the i-VII-VI-V should be a piece of cake, although it has Em as the v.

Thank you, I know it was pretty busy sounding. I literally just threw a first take of 2 tracks at it and just was so excited that I finally got something down I said F- it and posted it. Now to listen to the rest of the submissions and be humbled :D.

And I love this record. Anytime the Heartbreakers are your backing band...well it just kicks it up a notch.

It makes a huge difference to practice when your battery is fully charged. It didn’t take me long to reach 50% changes accuracy and speed.

Thank you for the kind words. I am just glad to be off the sidelines, I put off dealing with my recording situation for far too long. Just lazy I guess, and i am a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to tech. But I was able to download some software and get it to work. :D

Once you have the means, the method becomes much easier and quite addictive. :)

    So many foibles
I’m going to revisit this when time allows, there is so much here to be developed!
No need to be asked to leave the stage.
    I’ll show myself out :D
