    That's a good start. To really nail the chords try playing simple triads.

    This is a very focused and thoughtful take. You paid close attention to the changes! Work it some more my brother and you will gain confidence and authoritative emphasis when needed. :D

    Thank you my brother :) I know it didn’t meet workshop’s goals as it is melodic only. I’ll work on using chords’ notes for the solo. Yeah, I lack confidence and many other things lol

    So tonight I was playing simple triads over the A section starting at the 12th fret 5th string for the i 14th fret 5th string for the ii and 12th fret on the 6th string for the V7 and found more holes in my ability lol !
    Something that should be routine wasn’t and I need to fix that .:eek:
    Edit : Actually I was playing arpeggios not just triads .

    I would rather hear a coherent thematic melody than a bunch of turkeys-on-acid mindless widdly-woo. ;)

    I've been working on this tonight, (downloaded it when you first posted) so I was somewhat taken aback to see you've pulled the track. If you'd rather I don't post my take when I've come up with a theme, I totally respect that.

    I was sitting around listening to tunes before I go to sleep and this one came on. It has the cadence in it.

    Even before we got off the plane in Italy, I managed to rip the fingernail on my first finger, right hand. The last night, a mozzie decided to put its evil probiscus just where the inside of my wrist rests on a Strat. So, the reason this sounds as if I'm playing it rather gingerly is it hurts! Now it's your turn to share the pain...



    Any resemblence to a pre-existing tune is purely deliberate. :whistling:

    The SoundCloud algorithms must be in meltdown. This is how it catagorises my take: #Electronic #Electronic Rock #Krautrock. Yeah, and Kraftwerk were an oompah band! :D

    This chord progression would make a great punkish tune. In fact it already has. ( what's an extra chromatic step between friends)
