For those that are still interested, especially @Omar :D

    This one is based on

    Major Circle chord progression: I-IV-vii*-iii-vi-ii-V-I.

    In C: Cmaj7-Fmaj7-Bm7b5-Em7-Am7-Dm7-G7-Cmaj7.

The Minor Circle progression is this: i-iv-VII-III-VI-ii*-V-i.

    In Am : Am7-Dm7-G7-Cmaj7-Fmaj7-Bm7b5-Em7-Am7

The form is A-A-B-A (thanks @dogletnoir ) major, major, relative minor, major, repeated 3 times.

    proper chords.png

The aim is to play a rhythm track, play a melody, play a solo, return to the melody. Simple.

Thank you Mr Bit. Luckily I know the progression very well :D similar to fly me to the moon.

In the sheet, is that a typo in B half diminished? Bb or Bm?

    A few preliminary remarks:

Notice the types of chords - we are now dealing with 4 note chords, so we get maj7, dom 7, min 7, 7b5, etc.
    Looks like a Bb7b5:

    Bb D Fb Ab

    enharmonic to an E7b5:

    E G# Bb D

this is the basic jazz "tritone substitution" you hear about.

Notice this example has many types of 4 note chords:

maj7, min7, dom 7, 7 flat 5, so it's a good time to brush up on your arpeggios.

I actually drowned while in the deep end of the pool as a child. Pulled out and brought back by a life guard performing CPR. I had the whole life, ( as short as it was) flashing-before-me experience. So I stay out of the deep end (of anything) to this day ;).

Typo. Thanks mate, it should be a Bm7b5. I thought you sucked at music?

My mistake, my grandson was "helping" me make the backer. I've sorted it all out now and updated the original post.

    I need beer ...

US v. NED for Women's World Cup (congrats to both squads for a great game)
US v. Mexico for the Gold Cup
and NYC v. Atlanta in MLS.
And finally.... all of us over the track!
