    Thanks.

I've always preferred the two-point. I just find it to have a smoother operation as well as being easier to adjust for pivot point height.

I prefer the look of the 6point, no other reason. Both work fine. I wonder what would happen if you got a 6 point bridge and only used screws on the 2 outer points?

Nothing. the 4 points in the middle are basically there for nothing.

That being said I prefer the 6 screw look over the 2.

    6 is 4 more better than 2.

I have used both, and as far as functionality, I don't find that there is any great difference. However, I don't really dive bomb, or participate in whammy bar abuse.

I do kinda like the classic 6 screw look.

Not speaking from personal experience, but a lot of heavy whammy bar players/masters seems to prefer 2 point trem which may suggest that it's more stable. But if you're only talking about subtle vibrato it probably wouldn't matter that much.

I don’t like the Strat trem system, I don’t use it in either configuration, although I own both. I imagine the 2 point is engineered to be superior.

No. I have both. Makes little difference if you adjust it properly.

If you are going to beat the crap out of it, get a Floyd (1500 or better).

I have both, and can't really tell much of a difference.

When I want to do whammy stunt guitar, I have a floyd rose (2 point obviously).

For a little shimmy shimmer.... either or.
I've had both. I tend to prefer the modern trem that most of the internet dislikes. 2 posts, and block saddles.
But I can rock just fine on the vintage style trem also

The 2 point saves Fender a few minutes labor per guitar, drilling 2 holes instead of 6, and no countersunk holes drilled in the metal. And it saves some wear on drill bits. That makes the 2 point trem cheaper, and that's a win. It performs just as well, and it is simpler to set up. I say it's better, if only because it's more efficient to build.

I always liked the 6 point simply because it looks correct to me. I do like the 2 point also though. 2 pt look very slick and modern.

I don’t use the whammy though, so I have no opinion as far as functionality.

6-Point all the way. Looks correct, better body contact for sustain.

I have both. I have never had a problem with the six point. I have to admit that the two point on my Ultra is very easy to adjust and feels very nice under the palm.

I’ve got both. 6-screw looks better for sure and it works fine. Mine never goes out of tune even when I abuse it (I rarely abuse it)…

But, I like the feel of the 2-point one, especially with solid saddles.
