My friend lent me this beautiful guitar for a couple of months. Here are the first sounds of it. I think this is from the year 2000.

    Pretty damn good guitar:thumb:

Nice guitar and nice playing mate! I had a McCarty P90 once, stupidly sold it. However, the wide fat neck isn’t for everyone. Rock on!
    Cheers,
    Chris

Earlier iteration of the McCarty, with the compensated stop tailpiece and moon markers instead of birds...
i have one just like it myself, and it's one of only a couple of guitars that i bought, moved on,
and then regretted it enough to buy another one.
You're getting some very nice sounds from a lovely guitar!
Your shirt spells out your opening riff, too.

The new McCarty 594 is calling me. After I get the Martin CEO 7 or 9 the McCarty will be next.

Not sure about the older ones but the McCarty 594 has pattern vintage neck not the wide fat. My Custom 22 has the pattern vintage and it’s the best neck I’ve ever played. Cross between a 59 Gibson and mid 50’s soft V Fender neck. Sooooooo puuurrrfect!

i have a '91 classic electric that is on it's 3rd set of frets, but for whatever reason i do not gel with the mc carty model. i do not gel with the original custom 24 either but their original bolt on classic electrics and swamp ash specials do it for me.

must be a good friend to loan you a great guitar, i enjoyed the playing, hope you enjoy the guitar.

Thank you. The neck of this guitar is not wide flat. This is thicker than my Stratocaster c-shape neck.

Maybe this one got the pattern vintage neck?
