Purchased a Fender Crafted in Japan 67 reissue please decode STB67 EX2

    It is stained Ash and very close to new condition. I found this code stamped on neck and body although I had a great deal of faith in the seller who said, and I believe, was the original buyer. Serial number is A023816. Here are a couple pictures. The only odd thing to me, and not knowing whether it is correct, the neck plate is blank.     I'm surprised as I used the forum regularly while searching. I could guess that the ST and 67 mean stratocaster 67 version and that ex could mean export but I have not seen the "B" or the "2". Your help would be appreciated.

    That is a nice looking guitar. Looks almost identical to my American Standard.
