One of the hidden gem obscure 80's solos I've found!
2...I really wasn't impressed with any of it.
I would be willing to bet everyone in the production booth on that album had a mullet.
Here's some 80's solos that I would score higher.
I've tried numerous times to make my self like 80's music... With the exception of thrash, it's hard for me to like anything else from that decade...
80’s music wasn’t that bad !
2 and 3/4... nah, but who cares if you don’t like the song. It was was soaring and melodic which I like. Reminded me of the Love Hurts solo by Nazareth which is simple but fits the song perfectly.
Yeah! I'm not going to rate the solo...I did like the tone and the statement it made within the confines of a mediocre song.
It's not as good as I had hoped nor as bad as I had expected after reading the thread...
2 for creativity, 8 for glam metal tone!
But holy hell, I gotta get this album!
The worst of the 80's at its best
Not my kind of music. Not impressive ~ sorry
Well, tone was good, phrasing was good and it fitted the song great... not sure how I’m supposed to attribute a note to a melody but I think that was perfect...
I'm gonna hurl, again...
-5, look at me I can bend and use the wiggle stick a little....
Oh my..........is that some compilation of every possible 80's cliche? That solo would have worked perfectly in at least a hundred 80's songs.
I seriously wanted to go watch a ""Flashdance" and "Footloose" marathon.
I don't recall that song. The best thing I can say about the solo is...at least the singer wasn't singing during the solo.
The whole song just doesn't strike me as anything special.
I just watched Bloodsport. There’s some serious cheese 80’s cliche songs if you run out after the dance marathon.
