Hello all! I've actually been a member here for some time, though I've not been active in nearly 4 years. So I thought I'd do a quick re-introduction of myself. I've actually owned quite a few Fenders in my time, and a solitary Squier (which was my first guitar!). I'm a lefty. I'm 25 from the state of Ohio. I have a band, and do some solo stuff. Predominately play hard rock/punk fusion. Kinda early Metallica meets early Green Day, I suppose. I currently have about 14 guitars but only 6 see regular use. The others are either projects or sentimental pieces. My main 6 are a Kurt Cobain Mustang (competition blue), a Kurt Cobain Jaguar, a mexican Strat with upgraded PUs (Midnight Wine/Maple board), a '84 Japanese Strat (e series, 72RI, white, rosewood), a mexican standard tele (midnight wine/maple), and my acoustic is a Martin DM. As far as amps go I use a Peavey XXX with a custom 4x12. It's currently got an assortment of speakers in it that I plan on replacing. I use very little effects overall, generally straight in. Though I do have some I use for recording, Vox Wah, EH Chorus and EH Phaser, and a Korg tuner pedal. Looking to add some more soon, like a nice MXR 10 band eq. Some of my biggest guitar influences are James Hetfield, Randy Rhoads, and Kurt Cobain (he's not technical, but I have a big appreciation for his melody, and flip side, his chaos). I also really love The Beatles, and John Lennon. Always looking out for small time punk bands. But I can appreciate any genre. Most of my Fender family, before the tele joined.
