And well really dont want to say dont consider MIA or completely disregard them because well a Fender is a Fender and nothing out there is like a Fender.

Buying MIA is awesome as well........ I love my PRRI 112 Bordeaux and hell one of these days I can see myself hunting down a MIA Standard from the Eldred years or an Elite maybe but overall for me , in 2021, the imports bring just as much joy and the quality is there.

Not so much so but more like just a blurted statement.

I dont even mention China in my OP or Title.......or in any post that I am aware of, so I dont know where that came from but lets just say its a random blurted statement or perhaps a freudian slip.....or oh I dont know just like random stuff people do on the bus sometimes blurting out things.

I love how this thread went from a simple "Hey isn't it cool that import guitars have finally gotten really good?"

But even that is a fundamentally flawed statement. If by "import" you mean "not from the USA" (which isn't what it means to most of the world's population...), it happened in the late 70s when Japanese guitars started to become really good & people in the West started to realise this.

It's not a new phenomenon at all.

And that's just trolling again, because you can't talk about how large groups of people spend their money without invoking "economics".
