Anyone know a small parts depot which might have a switch like this...
Have you been studying for your SAT's?
Funny I get an access denied on those links ! Did you need to log in ?
LOL Never too late I guess
Try them again... I redid them. I also added a couple for Advance Auto.
Nope the top 2 won't work but the Advance Auto do...
Even weirder, a direct attempt to the entry door www.autozone.com return the same access denied message. I guess it may be caused by the fact that i'm in Canada ?
many auto parts stores carry rocker switches but some switches are for 125v a/c and some for 12v d/c.
Shouldn't matter as long as it can carry the current required. But definitely check the specs.
Take the broken switch with you.
the replacement switch voltage AND the amperage need to be the same or higher than the old one
For instance, this switch is 250 volts (so would be extra heavy duty on a 120v circuit), and 15 amps. .38 cents
Specs matter. Stuff melts.
They sell rocker switches like that at your local auto parts stores.
Edit: I see someone beat me to it. Nice.
Altex electronics in Carrollton Tx. They have everything.
It's just one of the pieces of paper, that you display your switch on, has the letters SA and then a possible T on it
