It'll be full of bull$#!+ like everything else that is published by them. As @sam_in_cali said, a distraction.

"Report to Congress" ensures that nothing will be in the report that the Pentagon doesn't want China, PRK, or Russia to know about.
Very few elected officials have top level clearance.

I wont hold my breath...these fighter jets have the best camera systems available on them and all the video I see is horrible, little fuzzy black dots on a screen darting around. Why all the crappy footage? How come it's never quite good enough? Everyone has a camera in their pocket and still every big foot photo is grainy...

Maybe Marshall Applewhite was right all along, and their souls are flying happily through the cosmos, on the comet.

    Probably not, though.

I spent 21 years in the Air Force and have looked at 1000 hours of jet fighter footage and I can guarantee you their cameras are marginal at best. If you want to talk about the U2 and the SR-71 in the TR-1 that’s a different ball game. I will say I’ve seen some crazy things on fighter aircraft gun camera footage though.

Maybe they have helmet cameras or something now.
Historically, I know of gun cameras and surveillance cameras, but I honestly never thought of what-in-the-heck cameras any of the planes have to capture a moving target in the air they aren't actively shooting at.

What all cameras do they have these days? And I have to say that most of the gun camera footage I've seen is grainier than heck. I would assume and hope it is better and digital these days.

I spent a number of years working with FLIR cameras. Those clips that have been released are actually quite good.

Apparently in July of 2019, tic tac shaped "drones" were harassing navy destroyers of the coast of California.
They were harassing them for several hours, flying at eye level from the ship's bridge.
So, cameras weren't needed to see this event. They were buzzing several ships who deployed "snoopi", and most of the crew saw all of it.

I would post a link to where I read about it, but I don't want any political connotation inferred, but it came from gov officials.

I'm not saying it's space aliens, but what's troubling is that the ships captains didn't know wtf they were looking at.
Hopefully it was ours and not a foreign state's.

I know in the armed forces, sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
I'm hoping that is the case here.

    Otherwise.... jeeeez .... not good.
