Rewarding weekends

Started Friday night,

Another 5-6 hours yesterday laid + leveled 6" of sand.
(about 2 cubic yards, truck dropped it off yesterday round noon, forgot to take pics. musta been temporary heat stroke)

The reward?

Look out this a.m.
2 hoses running all night
(TY to Alice my neighbor & adopted grandma by every kid in the neighborhood)

Nutha hour or two it outta be full

Nice. I did that for my kids when they were 8 and 10 and they loved it and used it almost every day in the summer. I wish it was only 85 here. So far the past 4 days - 101, 102, 98, and 92 today - with high humidity - pretty miserable - wish I had the pool instead of a neighborhood pool with other people hanging out and pissing in it.

Awesome. We had one when the kids were young, and if you’ve ever had to mow the grass on a 97° day in the Midwest, you’d know what a relief it was to drop into the pool.

I run mine with the best solar blanket they sell and it increases the temp up to 10 degrees. Keep your chems up so the water doesn't go green, cause it's a pain to get it bake to clear and expensive. Looks good

Ah i remember our first pool when i was about 5 or 6, my Dad said he was building a slab for a new garage and we were helping him, and then at some point I thought, "hang on a minute this aint no garage...."

We lived close to my parents who had a pool, and I just didn't see the need for more than 1 pool in a family. Now we live further away, but we're empty nesters, and our neighborhood has a community pool.

This is my folk's pool and backyard.

wow, your water is so clear in your municipality. If that were Nashua water, your pool would be almost black when filled and it would take about 3 days for the filter to get it clear.
