I just gave the Endless River a spin a couple of weeks ago for the first time since I bought it back when it was first released. I never spent much time with it but this time I gave it a couple of listens and it's quite good. I don't think I can really compare it to any other PF album given it's all instrumental and very ambient in nature but if you like Rick and you like the PF sound, it's a great album to have playing in the background.

    RIP Rick

RW was an essential part in the mechanism of PF.
He was one of those “essential intangibles”.
