Vanilla Fudge opened in Portland for Jimi Hendrix in 1968.
The best show I ever saw. I'm glad I had the chance.
    It was a good run.
    Rest.

He was a member of the original "Cactus" with fellow former Vanilla Fudger Carmine Appice, and Jim McCarty from The Detroit Wheels. They were a great band. Hate to see him go. RIP, amigo.

watching the generation before me roll over and call it a day really puts the old arrow of time in the forefront...

This sucks. I jammed with Tim and Lee Oskar at the LA Street Scene in 1979. We played...the blues.

Now I got them blues again.

Years ago, a band I was in played at an instructional seminar Tim was hosting. After we played our couple songs, he ripped us to shreds with a funny but accurate critique of our weak points.

It's hard enough to take seeing childhood heroes get old, but it's tougher to see them move on.

I started a thread on Vanilla Fudge awhile back due to their signing onto Robot Records. There were supposed to do a Supreme Vanilla album in 2021. I believe this is the last time Tim Bogert recorded with Vanilla Fudge in 2007...this is just recently re-mastered in 2020.:(

Now that is what I'm talking about. BBA was great.
