I remember buying Made In Japan, Deep Purple, when it was first released. I was 15 years old, not long started learning to play guitar. The solo on Child In Time just blew me away, still does!
Ritchie has a style which is clearly his own. Great guitarist.

In Rock is a classic. I still listen to it now and again. The Mk. 2 Purple line up was my favourite line up. They made some killer albums

I still listen to it too. Mach ll by far the best, although, I'm also a Tommy Bolin fan...soooooooo.

My absolute fav guitar player. Sadly though he seems to have lost a lot in the last few years. Those Rainbow reunions were not very good IMO.
