Seems to me, there's nothing to see here...just walk away.
You got it!
Ten Years Gone , Nice Chris !
Zep your time is gonna come
Thanks Jim! That didn’t take long.
Man Means is just on fire. I have him in a different league (points, $$$). Didn’t realize they pushed his start today until it was too late. Dang.
Yeah , it’s a shame we won’t keep him , we don’t pay ....
Zep it is but a different song. Ancient Ax got it. 10 years gone.
I hear ya. They’ve got a nice crop blooming there. And they need an ace. I mean they knew he had it in him and they’ve nursed him this far. Would be a shame to see him in different colors. I don’t think they’ve raised one since Mussina and Ben McDonald have they?
No . They do have some young talent , waiting on Rutschman to make his debut !
Ok my bad!
Magic Carpet Ride , nice !
I’m not sure, but nice playing there. I’ve been working on and slowly trying to convert to the thumb over. I noticed that you’re able to cover both the Low E and A strings. I am trying to do just that. Maybe not quite fretting the A string but at least being able to wrap over enough to mute it with the thumb when my first finger is playing on the G string while muting the D string with the same finger tip. Making progress but still haven’t found the comfort spot for the wrist to move yet. I’ve taken a few notes here based on some observations.
Nice relaxed grip on the pick and relaxed motion with the right hand to. I’m trying the 2 finger and thumb approach but I have no finesse yet, lol. I have to grip the pick harder than I want to keep it from swiveling around and I end up just chopping the strings to death.
Thanks @chrimturn! Yes it's handy to wrap that thumb around to mute the E and A when playing chordal stuff on the top 4. I don't think I would pick this guitar part either. Heard the song on the radio and thought hey that's a cool little rhythmic part. A little hint... the artist is famous for playing a different instrument.
IMO @stratocarlster is among the best rhythm players that I've seen here. Cool and relaxed strumming style and always on time...always.
Well, with the hint, my mind immediately/automatically wants to think Phil Collins and hearing something like Sussudio but after listening I don’t think that is it.
