    @The Strat Dude , well played.

    I must admit that I have watched your playing with the thumb pick. I have tried that and cannot get an upstroke that doesnt move the pick. Ive tried different types/sizes/gripped with thumb and no go.
    I find downstrokes ( learned from my banjo) easy….weird.
    Either way you have it aced, so rock on!

    Thanks brotha, and I find I can't even hardly play without those Herco thumb picks any more. If I pick up a guitar and don't have one I struggle.and it has to the the Herco's, if they stop making them I may be in trouble o_O.

    Are you useing the HERCO Flatpicks (looks like a flat pick with thumb ring)…best I could describe it….lol
    Or a HERCO with the small pick like a banjo pick?
    Ive never seen the flatpick variety so may hunt one down now that our shops are opening up here.
