I used to love her, right?
Used to Love Her, yes. Always loved that song.
Just to keep things moving, here's another fairly easy one (hopefully). This was a staple tune on 70s FM radio.

I don't believe it! Just to bring it back up, I was going to do that same song!
I'll leave it to someone else.
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
bchaffin - Go for it!
Ha, great minds bchaffin. Post it up (or another)
I was going to do another song by the same band... Might still.
Great stuff Mouse... Loving this thread!
This IS a pretty cool thread. It's easy enough to record 20-30 seconds of a riff and most of us ADD folks might actually listen all the way through
Well, I did have another in mind.....
Wow my riff has had 63 views. I'm a YouTube sensation!
I think bchaffin has stumped us. As it's been quite a few hours, someone else is welcome to throw in another riff.
Think 80s hair band, if it helps.
Is that Every Rose Has its Thorns?
This one is a little less popular from a fairly popular band. Hopefully my early morning sloppy playing won't make the riff unrecognizable to those who might know it.

I'm digging it Mouse... but not twigging it.
Mouse, sounds familiar but I can't think of what it is...
Most of you might remember this one:
Don't know what it is Mike but it rocks ...I want to hear the whole song!
I can't pick yours or Mouse's riffs but what the hell, here's another one...got to go to bed soon so may as well post it
I figured this one might be tough. I guess I'll give a hint. Scott Gorham was a member of this band and this was the title track to one of their albums.
Damn, I can't place either of Mike or stratocarlster's riffs.
Thanks for the hint!
Chinatown - Thin Lizzy.
